Certifications are of great importance to Euphoria Mobility. We believe it is very important to comply with applicable legislation and information security is a high priority, we possess various certifications. These range from RDW certification to ISO 9001 and ISO/IEC 27001 certifications. To help you understand exactly which certificates we have, and what they mean, we have listed them for you. ISO 9001 is the internationally recognised standard for quality management. The standard sets out the requirements for securing and improving processes that are important for increasing customer satisfaction. Simplified, the 9001 standard boils down to saying what you do, doing what you say and providing evidence for this. Euphoria Mobility achieved the certification because we place customer satisfaction and quality high on our list of priorities.
ISO/IEC 27001 is the standard for information security. The standard specifies requirements for establishing, implementing, executing, controlling, assessing, maintaining, and improving a documented Information Security Management System (ISMS) in the context of overall business risks to the organisation. This certification is of great importance to Euphoria Mobility as we mostly work with privacy-sensitive information.
In the Netherlands, the RDW is responsible for type approval for vehicle parts and vehicles. Our data terminals are considered vehicle parts and it is therefore mandatory to get approval for them. This type approval applies throughout Europe.
The NMI is the independent testing and certification institute for measurement systems. They have tested and certified the taximeter, which can be switched on in the data terminal. As a result, we comply with current legislation in the Netherlands.
UL is a leading company in the field of safety solutions. They test and approve our products before they go to customers. This ensures the quality and safety of our products.
In addition to testing by the UL company, our products are also tested by SGS BrightSight. SGS BrightSight is the world's largest independent security assessment laboratory. Its seven sites are located in Delft, Barcelona, Madrid, Meyreuil, Graz, Beijing and Taipei. The company is recognised as the global benchmark for quality and integrity, which is why Euphoria Mobility chooses to engage them to test and approve our products.
In addition to meeting the requirements for NMI certification, we are also MID-007 certified. MID-007 certification applies across Europe and, as a result, we comply with all applicable legislation set for taximeters and other measuring equipment.
Chiron is the database for taxi companies in Flanders (Belgium). In this area, it is mandatory to transfer certain trip data to a special database monitored by the government. At Euphoria Mobility, our data terminals are certified to transfer data to the database, and we were the very first company to enable this.
Every country has its legislation. Therefore, in addition to Chiron, we also comply with the PTB seal of approval required in Germany. We also have INSIKA certification. All our data terminals in Germany are equipped with an INSIKA card that ensures complete, clean, and audit-proof recording of each individual journey.
We also meet the requirements to carry out rides for KELA with our equipment. KELA is the care and patient transport in Finland, and this requires you to comply with a number of conditions. Our data terminals and software are fully compliant and therefore you can be sure that your KELA rides are registered correctly.
At Euphoria Mobility, we are always moving forward. That is why we expect to obtain a diverse number of further certifications soon. Some examples are the Trip Registration Seal of Approval and the Swedish Taximeter Certificate.
