Our data terminals are extremely versatile. Hilverink Koeriers en Taxi, for example, uses our terminals to transport goods. What exactly is the role of the terminals? Jeffrey Hilverink, director of Hilverink Koeriers en Taxi, explains.

Hilverink Koeriers en Taxi has been a customer of Euphoria Mobility for a long time and uses our data terminals. "We started using your data terminals in 2010. At first we only had them in our taxis. This worked so well that we decided to install the terminals in the courier vehicles as well.''

The base

The data terminal forms the basis of daily operations in the courier business, just as it does in the taxi business. "At the beginning of the day, the drivers log in via the data terminal and log out at the end of their shift. They also use the data terminal to receive transport orders for packages. The great thing is that the head office can add additional information to these orders. And just like a taxi service, the drivers can start and stop activities via the data terminal.''

Loading and unloading times

Hilverink Couriers and Taxi also uses the data collected via the data terminals. "The information from the data terminals gives us an insight into loading and unloading times. We also use the extensive data for our drivers' timekeeping. This way we know who has worked when and for how long.''

Good support

The difference between taxi and courier services is not that big, according to Hilverink. "In both cases you have to deal with time pressure and customers who want real-time information about their journey. The data terminal supports us well, which is why I would also recommend the data terminal to other courier companies!''
